What kind of trainers should I wear? We suggest trail shoes but if you don’t have any normal trainers should be OK but some areas will be a bit slippy if its wet.
Will their be a baggage hold? No, you are very close to the parking area.
What is the course like? This is a flat course with different terrains. It consists of grass, gravel tracks, tarmac and a short wooded stretch soft under foot. The ground is uneven in places.
Can I give my entry away or sell my entry? You may change the details on an entry through sentries. Its up to you if you recoup the money for the recipient.
Is there parking? Yes there is plenty of parking.
Can we have spectators? Yes, we encourage spectators in the event village.
I am under 18 will I still get a beer? No, you will be given a suitable age appropriate alternative (but nice try).
Can I buy food onsite? Yes, you will be able to buy food onsite and vegetarian and vegan options will be available (subject to availability) although if you are a competitor you do get some yummy food.
Can I buy drinks on site? yes you can buy non alcoholic drinks onsite, coffee and cake.
Will there be a water station? Yes on the 10k and no on the 5k. We suggest if its is a hot day bringing your own water anyway in a suitable vessel. Water will be available at the end and to buy.
What if I forget my number on the day? Please come and see someone at the information tent on the day and we will see what we can do.
My number has not arrived, what should I do? Don’t worry we are now handing these out on the day.
How much does it cost? It costs £25 to enter and you get all the same benefits for the 5k and 10k, hence its the same price for both distances.
I don’t drink do I have to have a beer? Of course not, you can have a soft drink if you would like to there is a box to tick on entry.
I am a vegetarian, vegan, Gluten Free do I have an option? Yes of course, you can tick the box and we will provide something else for you to eat.
Are the distances exact? No, they are around the 10k and 5k distance there are Strava maps provided however by the very nature of the course being wide in places and varied your own GPS may measure it differently. We have tried our best to get them as close as possible.
