What kind of trainers should I wear? We suggest road shoes for the 10k as its all on road and for the 5k trail shoes as its multi terrain.

Will their be a baggage hold? No, you are very close to the parking area.

What is the course like? This is an undulating course for the 5k and the 10k. the 10k is all road and the 5k is multi terrain.

Can I give my entry away or sell my entry? You may change the details on an entry through sentries. Its up to you if you recoup the money for the recipient.

Is there parking? Yes there is parking however please do share lift where you can as parking is limited.

Can we have spectators? Yes, we encourage spectators in the event village. please bring cash for the stalls, games and stands.

I am under 18 can I still run? yes you need to be 15 to run the 10k on the day of the event.

Can I buy food onsite? Yes, you will be able to buy food onsite and vegetarian and vegan options will be available (subject to availability) The BBQ is provided by The Buck Inn at Thornton Watlass and any queries regarding this need to be directed to the pub directly.

Can I buy drinks on site? yes you can buy non alcoholic drinks onsite, coffee and cake. The pub is also open for a food and drinks.

Will there be a water station? Yes on the 10k and no on the 5k. We suggest if its is a hot day bringing your own water anyway in a suitable vessel. Water will be available at the end.

What if I forget my number on the day? don’t worry we give out all the numbers on the day.

My number has not arrived, what should I do? Don’t worry we are now handing these out on the day.

How much does it cost? It costs £17 to enter and you get all the same benefits for the 5k and 10k, hence its the same price for both distances.

Are the distances exact? No, they are around the 10k and 5k distance there are Strava maps will be provided shortly. The 10k is pretty much exact the 5k may measure short.
